At the heart of Deora Resort & Hotel lies the vision of Mr. Lalit Deora—a passionate entrepreneur whose love for nature and hospitality led to the creation of this serene retreat. With an MBA from IIeBM Institute, Pune, Mr Lalit Deora began his professional journey with promising career opportunities in the corporate world but was drawn instead to a deeper calling—the art of horticulture and the transformative power of green spaces. His fascination with plants, polyhouses, and sustainable landscaping evolved into a dedicated pursuit, leading him to establish Swastik Nursery, a leading name in landscaping and plantation projects across Rajasthan. His expertise in creating lush, vibrant landscapes is visible in prestigious projects such as IIT Jodhpur, Surpura Safari Park, Raj Bagh Wellness Center (Udaipur), Kanawas Resort (Kumbhalgarh), and many more.
In 2018, driven by his passion for agro-tourism and his desire to share the beauty of nature with the world, he founded Deora Resort & Hotel—a boutique destination that offers guests an experience of peace, luxury, and deep-rooted Rajasthani hospitality. His dream was to create a place where people could not only celebrate special moments but also connect with nature’s serenity—a place where the grandeur of Rajasthan meets the tranquility of lush landscapes. Under his leadership, Deora Resort & Hotel is not just a venue but an immersive experience in luxury, tradition, and nature’s embrace.
